Portraits are painted in oil on high quality, gallery wrapped canvas, with an approximate one inch depth. Each commission begins with a no cost, no obligation phone or zoom consultation. Items discussed include the size and scope of the painting, design elements and color scheme preferences. Client must provide one or more high quality digital photos of their dog. Since these works are painted in oil, there is a minimum one month drying time allowance upon completion of the painting before shipping. Commission schedules fill quickly so please plan ahead. All artwork is sealed for durability upon completion.
After the initial consultation, a 50% deposit is required to secure your commission schedule. Approximately one week after receipt of deposit the client will receive another consultation including a rough sketch of the concept for the painting. Upon completion of the painting (before drying), the client will receive a digital photo of their painting and payment in full is required prior to shipping (shipping billed separately).
Custom sizes, more complex compositions, for example including more than one pet, can be accommodated upon request.
